My password quit working. What happened?
| |
| Cause: | It is likely that your password has expired and needs to be reset. Passwords expire every 180 days. |
| Solution: | If you check your e-mail using an Outlook client or through Outlook Web access, you will be notified several days in advance that your password is about to expire. When you are notified, you should go to either http://pathway.umkc.edu (if you are a student) or http://myhr.umsystem.edu (if you are a faculty or staff member) and use the tools on those pages to reset your password before it expires. If you access your e-mail from inside of Blackboard, you will not be notified that your password is about to expire. You might consider creating an appointment in your Outlook calendar to remind you when your 6-month expiration is about to happen. If you have any problems resetting your password, contact the UMKC Information Services Call Center. |
