You must be running iPhone/iPod-Touch firmware 2.0 or newer.

Click on Settings.

Click on Wi-Fi and make sure Wi-Fi is set to ON.

Under "Choose a Network..." click UMKCWPA

Enter your UMKC username and password, with your username in the form of:  UMKC-USERS\username .

Click Join after you have entered in your password.

A Certificate screen will appear asking that you accept a certificate from Thawte Server, CA that is Not Verified and that expires on January 25th, 2011. Click Accept.

You are now connected to the UMKCWPA wireless network and should not have to perform these steps again.

Note: If the screen gets stuck with the message 'joining' click cancel and start over.  Periodically the iPhone will not catch on the first try.
